Jewellery has been a way of expressing myself since I was a child. Back then it was all about beads until 2002 when I decided to expand on the art of metalsmithing and took up jewellery classes.

I have been working on ideas that explore the nature of man. Be it the environment that surrounds me – that is the city of Athens and its inhabitants, or the natural environment.

Natural materials and patterns have always fascinated me and have been a starting point of observation. My latest work is inspired by the study of such materials while experimenting on different techniques.

I let the materials guide me. The final form of my jewellery derives from experiments on their properties and qualities.
