The Nest emerged from the study of my body throughout my pregnancy.

 

The body of the pregnant woman plays the role of a home for the fetus. Life grows thus, a family is created.

The process of creating the jewellery pieces was slow and gradual – because of the nature of the materials that I have used – just like with pregnancy.

 

Japanese paper imparts the warmth of a home. The golden detail symbolizes the precious “load” that the body of the pregnant woman contains.
